Dear Daddy

Dear Daddy,
You missed every birthday.
You missed every christmas.
You missed every day of my life.

Will you miss giving me away as well?

Did you miss me at all daddy?
Because I missed you.
Love, Your little girl.

Author notes

My parents divorced when I was really young. My biological father seldom saw me or my sister growing up.

I can relate to this poem so much. I never see my dad.. and maybe some day he'll realize what he's missing but owell. If i ever get married my step dad is going to walk down the aisle with me. Not my dad. he just brought me into this world way to early then him and my mom should have a kid. besides that he's never done much of anything. But anyway this is a good write.

So sad. I can relate, being raised by a step-dad and never knowing the 'bio' one. Found out about him after he passed. So sad that things like this has to happen to people. Be stong and be yourself. keep writing and sharing here. thanks for stopping by and reading one of mine.
