Eternal grace (Revised)

The tree branches move to the wind like lace,
its leaves running as if to give chase.

The sky is blue and endless,
the sun shines on my face.
The birds fly over head
as if they're in a race.

I watch the wind,I watch the sky,
I watch the clouds move silently by.

In the spring the rain cleanses my soul
In the winter I lie here in the snow
I watch all the seasons as they come and go
each and every one puts on a different show.

There is no time in this case
this is were I lie eternally
my final resting place

Author notes

When I look at the pic I see a grave. So i revised this poem to fit the contest.

    Very Good

i truly believe that poets are a special breed. they are thinkers and dreamers. their feelings for life are special. loved your verse. wish i had married a poet.

ohhhh....I like the end twist...it went form a childs favorite spot to a grave....

Im not sure about the solid caps...

And I think there is a typo, correct me if Im wrong
THE BIRDS FLY OVER HEAD,AS IF AS IF THEIR IN A RACE
    you say AS IF twice!

But besides that it has a strong image and message! Thank you and good luck!

my sympathies goes out to you and ur family; this is a very good write and to use all caps in this way is like ur standing on top of a mountain shouting to the heavens above in wondering and yelling "why?" good luck
