My Burden

The nothingness of daily life seems to consume me
And while I seem so planned and secure,
I have a lot of regrets that cling to what seems to you as my normal routine.

But, friend, you haven't seen the worst of me.
My life is haunted by miserable memories and hideous thoughts,
Those of which will follow me forever.
No matter how hard I try,
I will always have that mnemonic skull of remembrance lying on the table of tomorrow's regularity.

so glad to see you've entered long time no see...
the concept of the skull being the past and the fruit being today is excellent.
as far as suggesting improvements i can't do that seeing as i will be judging. i can do that after judging tho. i will tell you that this is definitely worth working on yet even if you don't change a thing it's still worth merit
thank ya much for entering! and good to see you too
