The sun isn't shining here today Lord
I guess someone needs it more then me
now I usually do not mind sharing your sun
but I need a little sun myself to see
Send just enough to chase away the gray cloud
that seems to follow me all around today
I only need a glimpse of your sunshine
to chase this one little gray cloud away
Now I know you have time when we need you
if I have to wait until tomorrow I won't mind
I'll find another way to lose these blues today
and a way to leave this gray cloud far Behind
Thank you Dear Lord for always listening to me
my love for you is still overwhelming and new
the one thing you have taught me Dear Lord
when I feel alone I can always talk to you

God's Son is shining in my heart, but the Sun doesn't shine in my spirit today either. I am seeking relief in poetry as well. This is beautiful, shining brightly is your wonderful talent.
