The warmth of your body next to mine
as thoughts linger of the love we shared
I rest my hand upon your chest
gently I caress your bare shoulder.
I feel you breathe upon my arm
our legs once again are intertwined
the closeness we share touches my soul
I can only sigh as I watch you sleep
Rubbing my hand upon your chest
your eyes open and look into mine
my hand gently touches your face
you smile lovingly then draw me near
As you hold me in your arms I smile
then I whisper how much I love you
the love we shared was so heavenly
a feeling so beautiful it is unforgettable
There is no hiding the longing we feel
my desire of you rises with the sun
as you embrace me I surrender once more
our day begins where our night ended
