Before me was a door that opened to Heaven
A voice sounding like a trumpet said to me
"come up and I'll show you the music here"
then all at once I was in the Spirit entirely
There before me was someone sitting on a throne
having the appearance of jasper and carnelian too
surrounded by twenty four elders and thrones
encircled with an emerald with a greenish hew
Dressed in white and gold crowns on their heads
from the throne flashes of lightning were all around
loud peals of thunder could be heard everywhere
as the silence was broken with a rumbling sound
Seven lamps were blazing before the throne,
these were the seven Spirits of God you see
also what appeared to be a sea of glass
it was as clear as crystal there in front of me
In the center there were four living creatures
all covered on the front and on the back with eyes
there was one like a lion and one like an ox
one with a face of man and an eagle that flies
Each creature had six wings covered with eyes
day and night they would all sing this song
"Holy holy holy is the Lord God Almighty
who was and is, and is to come", all day long
Whenever the living creatures gives thanks
to Him who sits on the throne and lives forever
then the twenty four elders all fall down
to worship Him on the throne always and forever
Laying their crowns of thorns before Him, saying
you are worthy Lord to receive honor, power and glory
for you have created all things and by your will
they were created and have their being from Thee

This is beautifully and simply described and I hope people who arn't yet believers read your poems because this way of writing explains the Bible and makes it accessible to everyone.

Sandy another beautiful write from Revelations.. I couldn't sleep, so I checked in, glad I did... As I told you yesterday, I think I read Revelations more often than any other part of the Bible, I think I know it word by word...and the beauty you have placed on your pages just make me speechless and once again humbled...
