Revelations 5 Verses 1-14(The Scroll And The Lamb)

I saw in the right hand of  Him who sits on the throne
a scroll with writing on both sides and seven seals
then an angel proclaimed in a loud voice
who is truly worthy to open to see what it reveals?

But no one in Heaven or under or on Earth
could open the scroll and look inside
and because no one was found to be worthy
to open the scroll, my eyes cried and cried

Then an elder said to me, do not weep no more
now it's the lion from the Judah tribe I see
for the root of David has triumphed
He can open the scroll and the seals easily

Standing in the center of the throne was a lamb
the lamb looked as though he had been slain
surrounded by four creatures and the elders
a lamb with seven horns and eyes so fain

There were seven spirits of God sent to Earth
he came and took the scroll out of God's right hand
then the four creatures and twenty-four elders
together, began to fall down in front of the lamb

They each had a harp and held a golden bowl
full of incense and prayers of the saints, singing
"You are worthy to open the scrolls and break the seals
for your blood purchased men for God thus bringing

Men from every tribe, language, people and nation making
a kingdom and priests to serve God on Earth and to reign"
I heard voices of ten thousand times ten thousand angels
encircling the throne, creatures and elders singing in refrain

"Worthy is the lamb to receive power, wealth, and wisdom,
strength, honor, and glory and praise for he is slain"
I heard every creature in Heaven and on Earth singing
"He who sits on the throne and to the lamb in sweet refrain

To them there shall be praise and honor and glory
and there shall be power forever and forever more
as the four living creatures all said Amen
as the elders all worshiped as they fell to the floor"

    WONDERFUL COMMENT

Oh Annie, it make me happy to know how you enjoy my spiritual poems. That is why I write them, to touch lives. If just one person feels better reading them, I feel I did what God called me to do, encourage others in their faith. God Bless you in your times of frustration. You are truly a beautiful person and friend. Love, Sandy

This is really really good mum.. and I'm not saying that becaue I'm your AP daughter.. If only more people would write about Bible passages..it would make them easier to remember.. ... I do have a hard time remembering where to find things in the Bible...but when you put it in poetry form..its much much easier
