Pearl

She’s swirled and bathed in a sea of green
washed in a soothing hue
Laying upon a sandy shore
covered in salty dew

Frothy waves tickle her tender toes
urging her back to the bliss
The ocean song calls to her briny soul
It sings of the tranquil abyss

Burnished scales rustle and skim down her legs
forming a tail as they go
She smiles and leaps with a graceful flash
Welcomed home by the sea green glow.
