The Juice Bar

His leisur'ly walk to town had soon become,
a daily routine at the hour of one.
He was not keen on having lunch at home;
to spend that hour all by himself, alone.

his walk would take him to a little place,
that served the most delicious fare in town.
And there it was he first beheld her face;
there in the Juice Bar (as that place was known).

How  often did he walk since that glad day
in expectation passed the Juice Bar's door;
'till that one day; it rained the clouds were grey,
a lonesome figure sat inside the store;

her eyes looked sadly in a book and yet
not one line of the contents did she read.

    Interesting

    This could lead to other poems/stories of this love that is about to bloom.
    I love the picture you have painted with your words.
