That day when you came
You stood looking down the sky ready to rain
Hell had broken loose in those eyes
Your shoulders moved with heavy sighs
The vessal of your heart had been breached
I wasn't sure your thoughts could be reached
With a drawn in breath you looked up
Ready to melt into a cup
Why you stood on my doorstep I never knew
I stood there not knowing what to do
The wind started to blow
Your heart was dragged in tow
Hero's never are supposed to fail
Yet that day my soul turned pale
Your heart blead that day
I gapped not knowing what to say
I blamed myself ever since
hoping, wishing I could be rinsed
Never can I let go of the sight
When your eyes held mine tight
If only you could hear my confession
my heart has been hurt with oppression
Anger sweltered in my soul
It didn't hesitate to take its toll
Ripped apart I hated your deeds
I thought you could meet all my needs
Forgiveness is there but I still wish you to know
There in my heart deep and low
A secret lay hiden from you
Or maybe you already knew
You are my hero no matter what
Even that day when you were stuck in a rut
All there was to tell was left unsaid
The love was never to be read
