My Paradise

There is an emptiness, an openess within me
A special place, only seen by me,
A land guarded heavily,
but once entered, is such a paradise,
The journey is long and challenging,
For only one will succeed.

God has chosen who he is,
And everyday I wait,
For the unique keeper of the key,
The key to my heart.

Could he be right under my nose?
The sweet one I see everyday,
Or the ones I feel I don't deserve,
Like Mr. Perfect?

Yet i worry not,
For I know the plans of my Lord are great,
I know my Father,
and the unimaginable gifts he has before me.

So I fear not,
For soon enough,
My keeper will come,
My land will be safe,
And my paradise full.
