No One's Love

So many phone numbers
But none of them
Will love me

Every road I take
Leads to me being alone again
Then there's no light
To show me where to turn

Go on and tell me that
I won't always be alone
Come on and say to me
That everything will be all right
And that I have
Nothing to worry about

Love is like that shining star
That died a long time ago for me
So am I sitting here wasting my time
On relationships that aren't meant to be
So many people I can love
But no one to love me

Go on and tell me that
I won't always be alone
Come on and say to me
That everything will be all right
And that I have
Nothing to worry about

Although there are often times in our lives when we feel totally alone I'm starting to believe that it won't last forever.Brilliantly written poem, with a great flow.I love the fact that I can relate to it so easily. Thanks for entering my contest!

I won't tell you you won't always be alone just stop searching for love and when it's right it will fall into your lap.
