Which Princess Am I?

Here I am in the surroundings of the
Luscious Green Fern Forest.
I, for the life of me,
cannot begin to remember
what clever delight cast me into
this beautiful, dreamy, sanctum.
With flying creatures all around,
butterflies galore and two of the
most delicate birds making happy sounds.
~~~~But Wait~~~~
What is that shiny glow above?
We all know fairy-tales aren't true
but they create a dream of life anew.
I'm not dreaming, I'm wide awake
with 4 glittery glowing fairies
fluttering softly overhead.
Without Peter Pan or one Lost Boy to be found
Neverland, I knew in my heart, was no where around.
And there was no chance that I'd just left the ball.
How do I know? You're asking yourself?
No glass slipper on either foot.
Cinderella's out, no Prince in sight.
No one to kiss me, Sleeping Beauty's not right.
Snow White didn't have fairies
Instead she had dwarfs.
As I turned and noticed the pink cloud in the sky
I sat up in bed
OH DAMN I'M A GUY!
Author notes
My poem has no specific pattern. There is no intentional rhyming anywhere. So if it rhymes it is only because I felt it was a good fit with the pace of the poem.
Best of Luck to All.
    Hehehehe! It was a cool poem. Full of emotion and beauty throughout... well apart from the last line. I really enjoyed the poem but I personally think that the last line spoilt it a little. No offense. It was good though! I liked the thoughts and feelings you expressed throughout and especially all the fairy tale stories you managed to include. Good luck in the contest x
    Thank You BrokenAngel. I did change some things from the first writing, but I didn't even give a thought to enchanting sounds, wish I would have, wonderful idea. I may make that change after the contest. I don't think it would be fair to do it at this point.
    Thank you for your comments
    ShadowStalker,
    I sure hope you can laugh at this with me
    I'm not a guy. I'm a 36 year old mother of two with a twisted sense of humor at times. I laughed all the way through the rest of your comment after I read that. Thanks for your comment though.
    OMG...that was a nice little twist to the end. I liked how you made a fariy tale seem so...not fairy taleish...if that makes sense. For a guy, you write wonderful fairy poems and I'm glad I got the chance to read this. I would hope you didn't consider yourself a princess according to the title...excellent job and I'm going to have some tough competition because I enterd the same contest....
