The Spring

*N*aturally flowing clean
  and sparkling crystal clear
*A*bound with voices of the birds
  singing until you appear
*T*empatures always remaining
  constant throughout the year
*U*nspoiled by the population growth
you might even see a deer
*R*elishing the peace you float
down the river without a soul near
*E*verlasting memories flood your mind
as you pack up your gear

Nature with all her glory is there in your words.
A great acrostic. Very well done

This is one of the best acrostics that I have read in a while. It was so peaceful and vivid with imagery. The flow is impeccable. I've never been good at these, but it looks like you are natural! Kudos! By the way thanks for the wonderful comment you left on my poem. I really appreciate that and knowing that it had a positive effect on her made me feel good. Thanks so much!

This has such calm, soothing, tranquil feel to it. Almost like sitting high on a rock with the rushing of river water surrounding you, the sun beating down upon you, and the birds serenading you.

Whoa! Impressive. An acrostic that rhymes and carries such a serene feel to it. Such beauty and it reminds me of someplace, not so long ago within my mind. Very well done and I like the format of every other line, instead of one drawn out (which is usually the case) Bravo!

Nice acrostic! Normally the ones I read (and write!) are the main letter of each line. I find it really creative that you chose every second line!

I really enjoyed reading this poem. There was a fresh quality to it that I can't quite describe! You worded this beautifully.

Good job! Good luck in the contest!
