Confusion

Confused
She used to fit in my arms
Tiny, fair features
Blinking bluish eyes

Confused
She used to let me wash and braid
Her golden hair
Sideways pony's all the way.

Confused
She used to sing and
Make her Barbie's play imaginary games
In imaginary lands.

Confused
She will walk across the stage tomorrow
Her high school days done
And I have no idea where the years have gone.

Author notes

MY poetry has been stuck since my dad died in November and not sure if it is unstuck yet but this is a start.
