Spoken from the heart
Written from the soul
Love, life, and family
Treasured moments
We have known
Memories paint Monet’s
On the Canvas of our minds
Composed one by one
Throughout the years of time
Of Holidays and gatherings
Of Places we have been
Of Weekends spent with family
Of late night chats with friends
Redolent are the Dreams
Reminiscent, in which we dared
And tears of sorrowed moments
For which we all have shared
Memories throughout our lifetime
Have kept us close in thought
For it is the love in our Journey
That binds our heartstrings taut
Written from the soul
Love, life, and family
Treasured moments
We have known
Memories paint Monet’s
On the Canvas of our minds
Composed one by one
Throughout the years of time
Of Holidays and gatherings
Of Places we have been
Of Weekends spent with family
Of late night chats with friends
Redolent are the Dreams
Reminiscent, in which we dared
And tears of sorrowed moments
For which we all have shared
Memories throughout our lifetime
Have kept us close in thought
For it is the love in our Journey
That binds our heartstrings taut

This was sweet, I like the faint rhyming, it doesn't control the whole poem but it lets it flow with ease and and puts each line together really well. I also liked the metaphor about Monet, and how you compared your mind to a canvas, those are my favoritve two lines in this poem. "Memories paint Monet’s On the Canvas of our minds." Overall, I think this is really good, if you keep this up you will be a great poet, no doubt. Beautiful work.
