Gypsy Curse

*The Gypsy Curse

I wish for you a quiet life, empty rooms echoing with voices long past
Only dust in the corners, to remind you
Of all you have lost

I wish for you a quiet life, loneliness your only companion.
Fading memories, to remind you.
Of all you have lost.

I wish for you a quiet life, empty of all you held dear.
Endless time to ponder and think, on all you have destroyed and ruined.
Of all you have lost.

I wish for you a quiet life, filled with regrets.
For the man you could have been, for the man you should have been.
Of all you have lost.

I wish for you a quiet life, filled with remembrance.
Of lives you marred and despoiled, of the evil in your soul.
Of all you have lost.*

Yes, I wish for you a quiet life, you deserve nothing more.
I wish for you a quiet life, you deserve nothing less.
I wish for you a quiet life.*

Author notes

This was written to a man whom I thought was a friend, but then I discovered was a paedophile.
