What have you taken away?
A shadow of blood as memories darken.
Once we experienced innocence,
Untainted and childlike,
But your thirst soured.
A clouded pool of blood -
Tears follow love, follow memory,
Love bled dry.
In a haze of bitterness,
I reject you.
