It seems every time I turn around,
A new tortured soul is found.
and whenever I read a random poem,
It's about death, and suicidal doom.
The world's never a happy place.
There's only evil in the human race.
Let's all just die and slit our wrists
or at least 70% of the poems are like this.
always dark and blood and tears,
always hate and hidden fears.
never a smile, a laugh or joy,
just the same dispirited girl or boy
hating the world, and all it employs.
I wish they would stop making all of their noise.
Isn't it sad enough in the real world when it is raining?
what do you get by your incessant complaining?
how do you benefit? whats the big deal?
NOBODY cares about you when you cannot feel.
As for being happy, just give it a chance.
it will come looking for you if you let it.
with humor and love have a lifelong-romance.
heed this warning, and never forget it!!!!!
THIS IS A TRUE POEM BASED UPON ROUGHLY 70% OF "POETRY".
IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT...THEN WRITE A DARK, DISMAL POEM ABOUT IT AND PROVE ME RIGHT!

I do agree, but, as i've just read, you are complaining too which you've just proven yourself wrong

ok i write about sad stuff because thats what inspires me if you dont like that dont read it then.... sometimes people need to write about sadness so they dont do something stupid.. i know its helped me a lot it gets me through a lot of hard times and sometimes there are people on here who care and will encourage you to get better maybe sooner or later you will realize this

Okay- you asked for people to "rate it". I understand, sort of, how you feel. However, the rhythm of your piece is off enough to make me wonder if the narrator was thinking, "What rhymes with this word?" I think your point would be better taken if you weren't whining yourself. If 70% of what you're reading is stuff you don't like to read about, go to poems, and then go to categories, and pick what you want to read about. You don't have to click or respond to anything on here. Sounds to me like you are the whiner here- not the people writing stuff you don't like to read.
