Night Light by Fireflies

Fireflies and lightning
A hot, humid June night
If I'd have been a firefly
I might have taken flight

Awkward, yes, but very sweet
The moments passed by quick
Sunshine had to bid adieu
Moon brought his candlestick

If you'd have asked the tree swing
The roses or the owl
They might have told the story
Of hours passed and how

They'd tell you of the whispers
Between the two swing ropes
Promises of forever
The couple's sky high hopes

Dreaming of a future filled
WIth sunny, summer days
WIth Jesus Christ as Number One
Guiding all their ways

Hmm... this is good. Reminds me of my parents. This is something that every couple needs to hear.
Thanks for entering and good luck,
    Alexia
