Almond:
Colour of bland.
Nothing of interest;
I am invisible to him.
My life.
Author notes
There is no need to write negatively in the comment box, my poetry does it very succinctly for me.
I learned something from this contest. What is asked for, and what is accepted are two different things. Actually, I learned it long ago, when I entered my first contest here. So, what is in store for the future? I suppose I will see.

Most emphatically.

So very sad but I understand the feeling as well, we are all there at one time or another.

a sad write , yet a good statement for a feeling. Best wishes in the contest,

No, it makes sense. I suppose it was never there, so lacking would be a good word. The loss was on my part. Thank you for reading and commenting.

this IS sad...this poem gives me a real sense of...I don't know...lacking. Just lacking. I was going to say loss, but what I got from this is that there was nothing to lose in the first place, so it's not a loss, just a lack. If that makes any sense (and I have a sneaking suspicion that it doesn't
).

Thank you, and that is where I go. And, I find what I need elsewhere. Hey, love has its ups and downs. It cannot all be a ride at the top of the roller coaster.

this is so sad ... i would only say, look into yourself and rekindle your own beauty.
