Cloudy days standing in your way,
Even as you pray,
On your knees
Facing the sky,
Wanting answers to your questions,
As a tear falls from your eye.
Rain beginning to pour down,
Not listening to one sound,
Trying to hide your pain,
Wondering what you have to gain.
There will always be some stormy nights,
When you fight tears,
But the sun always comes up after the storm,
So hold on tight,
The flowers will blossom,
And tomorrow will be a better day,
But remember the sun always comes up after the storm.

I am certain this poem helped him in his time of grief. It is a true and optimistic view.
