Mirrored Images

You and me
North and South
Up and down
Completely opposite
Yet our hearts
Blackened and cold
Lonely and dying
Wanting and needing
Different we appear
On the outside
But look deeper
See beyond the wrapping paper
Sift through the package
And you will see
I am like you
And you are like me
Our hearts are simply

    Great

I loved this poem. It said alot. My favorite part was...
    See beyond the wrapping paper
    Sift through the package
    And you will see
    I am like you
