Though blind and without direction
It goes on
Traveling through the binding mist of an aging world as cold as snow.
I have seen this beautiful creation when once it was not blind.
It pierced the darkness with graceful beauty as a swan on a starry lake.
But now the wing is broken into pieces without the Gatherer
To redeem.
The mist has clouded the eyes and left scars and pleasures where
Divine Guidance. But lost and abused as it is
It goes on.
The lake is black and the water is thick with lies.
Yet it goes unnoticed
Like the gray clouds in a winter sky.
The darkness reaches into the mind of it and tries to hold it back.
It submits, for a time,
And goes on.
We are it and the darkness does spread to us
Like fog in the valley.
Will we still go on?
Author notes
This is a poem about the ever-present, ever-growing darkness in our society. Do we fight it?

great
very well described... i like all the symbolisms used.... specially the line "Traveling through the binding mist of an aging world as cold as snow." it just hold so much imagery and meaning behind it... it's really sad to see what's happening in today's society... you have done a great job in this piece keep it up
