Do you remember ?
How brave I was, and valiant and caring.
How I searched for you through the forbidden Darkness.
How bitterly fell my tears when I thought you'd gone.
Do you remember?
Our first argument. The promise I made and for you kept.
Our battle of wits, intriguing, more fun than a roller coaster.
When I made you a knight, my dearest knight.
Do you remember?
Shooting arrows into a wooden ring one hopeless day.
That first time I told you, I loved you.
How happy were we. In Heaven's court we stood.
Do you remember?
The quick battles we fought on all sides.
Giving your life for me. Giving my life for you.
Fighting without you was like attacking with no sword.
Do you remember?
Running through beige fields of wheat, laughing and feeling like one.
Creeping along dark caverns sharing even our light.
Each night I filled your mind. Each night you filled mine.
Do you remember?
How we danced amidst a crowded room yet no one else existed.
Blades clashed not feet away and our eyes found only each other.
The look in my eyes as I stared into yours.
Do you remember?
Momentous rapture filling our souls as we faced each other
before the altar. Our vows, binding us with love.
How we tried a dozen times kissing out of sync but still in beat.
Do you remember?
Playing Romeo and Juliet and feeling you were my Juliet and I your Romeo.
As we sung out reason after reason our love made sense.
How we determined to let nothing split us apart.
Do you remember?
How you have changed me when no other woman could.
How my love made your soul leap for joy.
My comforting words in time of grief.
I remember, love, these sparkling moments seared into my soul.
I remember, love, The feel of your spirit hugging mine.
I remember, love, you, every second of every day.
Do you remember... Me?
Do you remember?
