taring at a painting on the wall
so glamorous and beautiful
wondering about the glory of it all
and standing in its awe
suddenly the painting changes
still it's magnificent
but you wonder deep inside
how and why it could suddenly be different
but you pay to it no attention
until it transforms once more
each time the story the picture tells changes
why why why, you ask
like a lost fly in a quiet room
it bugs you, boggles your mind
and you try to find
the reason for its presence
why would it change
you havent a reason not to believe it
the first time
right?
it hasnt a reason to confuse you
to confuse your mind heart and soul
and the frusteration it brings
is like a stampeed of horses
pounding through your psyche
but what was the painting
the real painting
the true
painting
will you ever know?
Author notes
jordan asked me to type up a poem as fast as possible for her english portfolio.
it's basically everything she likes and dislikes in a folder..
so, im not writing poems for people's homework
just so you know
i dont really like this one
but i like the message...
so, yeah
you should too
