I wonder if others are thinking
"What's happened to our Castle highjinking?"
But with hail, snow and rain
On the Canterbury Plain
We couldn't highjink without sinking.
And also if I may be bolder
Now that the weather's much colder
Suggest that our thongs
Be exchanged for wool longs
But please don't give me the cold shoulder.
Big castles are draughty affairs
With all their stone floors, walls and stairs
And wood fires are banned
In this part of the land
So we'll all freeze to death - but who cares?
And perhaps that's the reason that Hugh's
Computer has frozen up too
But warm thoughts and warm friends
Will help thaw out our ends
So pass on these hugs sent to you.
OOOOOOOOXXXXXXOOOOOOOO
Author notes
I seem to have got stuck in the limerick mode - perhaps it's the weather.
