the cut in my life

it wasn't to long ago that i saw the face
the face of a fiend
that fiend that i should have listened to but i was to selfish
to know that i wasn't just hurting myself but the others around me
Until one day my secret let out
i was so scared i dint know what to do do
so i did it over and over until i passed out
to awake in a room not my own in a bed not my own
restrained in a hospital
for Weeks couldn't i wouldn't talk
for days i wouldn't i couldn't eat
until one day i saw the face
the face of the friend that told me to stop
the face of GOD
this time i listened and I'm out now
i didnt cut but talk to God
God told me now I'm telling you
Dint cut cut cut
talk talk talk

    Good write

I really liked this poem. It talks about a realistic situation for a lot of people. I myself can remember years ago, when I passed at a party or two. I'm glad those days are long gone. Thanks for your comment on my poem, "Before You Decide," too. Peace.

I really liked this poem, even though it was a heart wrenching picture that the poem painted. It showed what a little bit of faith can do in someones life and I can relate to that.
