I'm So Sorry

I am sorry daddy for the other day,
I want to take everything I said away,
it wasn't right for me to get mad at you,
but as that day went on, my anger just grew.

I am sorry daddy for yelling so loud,
I feel so stupid and I know you aren't proud,
for I know I wouldn't be proud of a brat,
which that was how I acted and that is that!

I am sorry daddy for not being good,
and being the good little girl that I should,
I know everything I did that day was wrong,
please forgive me so our family can stay strong.

I am sorry daddy and I love you!

Author notes

Well done and well said, Sadie! Without going into any detail, you have communicated the consequences of your outburst and your feelings about it, and made a very good apology.
Your rhyming and syllable counts are good. Good luck in the contest.
