My love,
Not willingly
I leave you in this life.
Know that at the gates of heaven,
I wait.

Thank you for your kind comment. I appreciate it very much. I do have another poem that is along these lines at: http://allpoetry.com/Poem/947879 It was written after my mother passed on. Death is such a sad event, unless you are sure of eternity. That is the only way I can face it. God bless and, again, thank you.

This is beautiful and sad. Sad because to say goodbye but full of love to wait on heaven gate. Our life here is for just a while but there is waiting eternal life after this when we pass heavens gate
    great done
