Who knew?
I sure didn’t
I didn’t know until he touched me
I didn’t know that’s how it would affect me
How was I supposed to know?
Know that when he rubbed my hand it would give me goose bumps
How was I to tell when the tips of our fingers met my heart would drop to my feet
I had no clue that that’s what his palm on my stomach would do
It was like he couldn’t lift his hands off or I would fall
That must be why when he slid his hand down to my waist I got that funny look on my face
It took me by surprise when his hand innocently landed on my neck
Pulling me in close
Taking the tips of his fingers and running them across my lips as if to put a gloss on them
That is the perfect man
The perfect man with the perfect pair of hands
