Can the tuna fish sing a tune
or the pickerel pick a worm in June
is a blue gill really sad and blue
does the star fish shine and twinkle too?
Does that crab get mean and holler
is the sand dollar really worth a dollar
can a whale have a whale of a tale
can a seahorse have a ponytail?
Does a cat fish have nine lives too
can fluke swim a lucky stroke for you
how many colors in a rainbow trout
can an electric eel ever burn out?
Can that sword fish learn to fence
Has a clown fish got any sense
can a grouper ever live by itself
does a perch ever fly off the shelf?
Does an angel fish ever really die
How high can a flying fish fly
does a jelly fish ever get in a jam
does a flounder struggle at a dam?
Next time you going fishing be sure
to use some worms and a fishing lure
cast your line and wind that reel in
you might catch a can made out of tin.

Hi, I'm a fish in the sea
running from that hook
The worm looks so delicious
so I decide to take another look
I take a bite of that worm
and then I scream in pain
I think to myself, Oh no,
this can't be happening again
So I'm forced out of the water
where I can't breathe at all
I see all these weird faces
and makes me seem very small
I flap and waddle and they
drop me back into the sea
I hear them screaming and
yelling back down at me
They think they'll get me
not a chance anymore
If that worm comes back down
I'll just stare and adore
Temptation may tempt me
but the pain I will never face
For the worm may be tasty
but the hook is a moral disgrace
So as I swim through the sea
watching the fish take a bite
I just crack a smile to myself
as they struggle with all their might
So I'll say goodnight to you
as I swim the ocean blue
And when that worm comes back again
I'll just swim right on through...
