Blooming

I am blooming - the day now knows my name,
She is losing - her reason to remain,
She is singing - the same old refrain,
I am blooming - my head hung not in shame,

She is smiling - a new boy breathes her scent,
She is breaking - the promises I bent,
He is bleeding - the same red blood as me,
When he sees it - wiser he will be,

Her eyes are like fire,
They burn you to the ground,
There she will leave you,
'Till she needs you again,

I am blooming - from where she burried me,
If she sees me - growing green and free,
She will pick me - and hang me there to dry,
So I'll be perfect - forever in her eyes,

Her eyes are like fire,
They burn you to the ground,
There she will leave you,
'Till she needs you again,

Author notes

This is a song.  It's much better to hear than to read.
