Darkened clouds cover my sadness
No more reasons to fight through this
Always a failure
Never will I pass
There is no cure
I’m falling too fast
Whispering voices
An outburst of silence
Too many choices
My mind’s too dense
Covering my face
To hide the scars
Catching everything I chase
But the prize is too far
You try to understand
But you’ll never know
About all of these feelings
That are so hard to show
Hidden boundaries
Hold me back
Try to cross the line
And the emotions attack
Can I give up?
Does it matter at all?
Just keep declining
There’s nothing to break the fall
