Dear Lord watch over sweet Jamey
she is with child waiting to give birth
Lord you have created a blessing
for this family down here on Earth.
Lord protect the baby till she is born
for she is a bundle of joy to behold
fill her life with love and happiness
as her time on Earth begins to unfold.
Lord she is truly a gift from you
a blessing conceived through love
guide Jason and Jamey in all they do
let them feel your presence from above.
Lord cradle this child in your arms
give her strength until her birth day
protect her each day as she grows
Lord please listen to you I do pray.
Author notes
This is for Jason ( poet live4eternity ) and his sweet wife Jamey who are expecting their second daughter in Sept. They have Samantha who is two years old. Jason is so dear to my heart. They are like a son and daughter to me. He led me to Christ last summer after meeting on allpoetry. They have been apart of my life ever since. I love them dearly. May God keep blessing you all.
