She is a special lady on allpoetry
her heart is a made of pure gold
always supportive to young poets
a dear friend to the lost and the old.

She gives us much more then poetry
her heart and soul are in each word
you receive her friendship so heartily
she listens to let your voice be heard.

This is  for your special day my friend
may all of your wishes today come true
you shine bright like candles on your cake
that is why I wish Happy Birthday to you.

    Thank you for this lovely poem. We all enjoyed writing for Sam. She seems to touch almost everyone she comes in contact with, and she doesn't even know it! There are special days, like our birthday, that we need to be reminded. Sam doesn't know how much she is loved and respected here on allpoetry.

    Your poem is wonderful and I especially like the lines:

    My heart is so full. I thank the Lord for you, and your friendship. I really don't think I am deserving of all this love, but I sure am happy to be recieving it. I will hold each and everyone of this poetic treasures dear to my heart. I am so happy. Thank you for your gift, and best wishes in the contest.
