You wanted a perfect fantasy
Filled with passion

You try so hard to please your parent
You forgot who you are
Where's the boy who watched me while i slept
Or the boy who worried til i was home safe?
When did he die in my arms
Leaving me with an empty shell of man?
You abandoned our friendship
And betrayed our love
I can live life without you
But the pain of losing a friend over a trivial fight
Cuts me deeper than any knife ever could
Was it all a lie?
Did you tell me that i was beautiful
To charm my innocence away from me?
Did you only say you loved me
Because you thought that's what i wanted to hear?
So afraid that dependency might interrupt your wild ways
You destroyed the pair
But i still hold the ace
You wont' haunt me
As i lay afraid to sleep
For fear of seeing your face
And falling apart
Someday the dreams will end
And my heart will open to another
Because I refuse to become
Angry and bitter ever again
