Redemption

Oh, how appealing is the first breath of a new spring!
Past wrongs abandoned, bitter moments gone extinct
Eyes that once saw with criticism are now blinded with love;
The tangible fragrance of compassion, I shall never forget
Tender whispers of repentance beckon my heart to follow.

Author notes

Written for a English assignment.. I would really like as much criticism as I can get on this.. Thanks This is my first poem in 6+ months, a little out of practice here..
