Charles I can only imagine
what will happen to you at sea
because you are so clumsy
and are as silly as can be.
You fall asleep on the chair
you hit your head on the floor
you say it's not the first time
you have done it once before.
When you sang amazing grace
you sang just like Donald Duck
and when it comes to sleeping
boy are you just out of luck.
I do hope they have fruits loops
waiting for you in the galley
and when that horn say dive
get below don't dilly dally
You might fall into the ocean
yes you could get lost at sea
but your faith will save your butt
from that shark who is hungry.
Show the shark your tough love
like the tough love you show me
you will make the shark tremble
like he's the chicken of the sea.
Know when you leave that port
hey you will be on your own
forget those nightly talks we had
no more big bills for your cell phone.
With all the money you will save
while at sea living the sailors life
you just may save enough money
to come home and take a wife.
I had to write this poem for you
because you mean so much to me
I sure will miss you my sweet son
please return safely from the sea.

Charles you have become a part of my daily life. You call me Mom , that is such an honor that you give me. You call me everyday to see how I am doing and you say , I love you mom. The sweetest words you could tell me. I am truly blessed.You make me smile when I am down. You always take the time to help me feel better. You love is so sweet. Your worship songs are heavenly. Oh how I will miss them when you are out to sea. How will I get along on Thursday nights with our worship time with Jason. I know how much I will miss it. I shall miss you laughter everyday and your smiles and everything that is dear about you. God Bless you my son. Always know how special you are to me as your mom. I love you always and forever , Your Mom

Sandy this is a wonderful tribute to charles. Charles is such an amazing person. Right along with you youve been there for me sandy through some of my struggles. Wonderful write my dear friend and I can't wait to read the next poem you post.

Charles, you are so sweet my son. I am happy I could bring you some laughter. It did my heart good to watch you read it and laugh.You always are so encouraging to m faith. It is wonderful to know you will always be there for me. That means so much to me when things go wrong. I m always here for you too. It is wonderful you are sharing things with Jason and I. Oh My Sandy.. You have truly done it this time. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard from any poem before. not even at my poems, well, I don't think mine are all that funny. But this one, man, you put a lot in there
Clumsy?? Me?? no way. Never me!!! lol How did you know I fell off the chair and hit my head?? Hmm, I must have told you or something. lol But anyways, you should have seen me last night, I was playing basketball with my socks that I just folded and I was shooting them into my dresser drawer from my bed. And I was on the last pair and decided to jump off the bed, do a 360, and slam dunk it into the drawer, well, when I landed, I almost broke my foot, so I decided to let myself fall to the floor, and in the process of doing that, I smacked my head on my desk. Man, the intelligent things that I do sometimes... But anyways, I like the picture at the top, I know that one day I will show them sharks who's boss... lol Not really, if they come after me, I just might as well just lay still and endure the pain, because it's gonna be quite sharp... Well, I must say, that I absolutely loved this poem. I loved the worship time we had last night. I loved everything about it!! It was all just simply amazing!! I am thankful that I have found someone as wonderful as you to call my mom What an honor and privilege it is for me Thank You so much for this wonderfully sweet poem that you have written here for me!!
