The song of my heart

You were determined for music to be a part of my life from day one.
You sang for me everyday.
I know sometimes that I might not have cared the way I should of, and that when I did I didn't do a very good job of showing it.
I know sometimes that it may have seemed like I wasn't listening, but I was and I still do.
Sometimes, if I listen real hard, I can still hear you singing, and I know deep down inside what it is.
It is the memory you have engraved in my mind,
It is the memory of my heart.
