for the time wasted raising a fool like me.
I'm not perfect & never will be.
for the attention I seek, that was never given to me.
I'm sorry...
I let you down; the pain I self-inflicted.
for the misery from my own rejection.
I judged you so hard; but that's the way things had to be.
for the scars you have that cannot be mended.
I'm sorry...
that I trusted you & gave you things for free.
I'm that I was living in a world of make-believe.
for bugging you, it was a waste of my time.
I met you, I banish that day from my mind.
I'm sorry...
for the words I cannot express.
I don't come out & visit.
for pushing you away; it was for the best.
for the tears you shed.
I'm sorry...
for always putting you through some type of test.
when I can't find a way to help.
for any trouble I caused.
for the time's you needed me but I was gone.
I'm sorry...
everyone for everything.
I was born.
anyone put their trust or hope in me.
I failed everyone so miserably.
Sorry: How many times can one say it before it loses it's meaning?

The first was for my parents, 2nd to myself, 3rd to a friend who betrayed me, 4th to a caring Aunt, 5th to my friends 6th to everyone. I know sounds kind of like a pity party that everyone is invited too...oh well.

Sometimes it is very necessary to say I'm sorry. It doesn't take away from anything by expressing your apologies. I am sure that if these words are given to those that you think you caused pain they will be appreciated, especially if they are from the heart. This saddens me. I am sure you didn't do as much harm as you think. It's funny how when things are said, later they were not really what was meant. Very emotional poetry here. Very well written.
