Your love I remember like a dream.
Your face I see, that picture so old, burned in my mind.
Your happiness I remember, basking in it with glee.
I remember every moment spent with you.
How we happily danced in lost fields even apart.
Your eyes in my mind, we gazed deeply into each other.
Of your lips did I happily partake and you of mine.
Oh precious bodies, we held each other tight.
And now every moment replays in my mind.
A cold record of warmest thought.
The happiest feelings for you and now I am freezing.
I love you still and always will and it hurts.
I cry, I scream, I die, I try.
Sobbing drops me to my crimson knees.
I am wracked with tears, pain, sadness.
What we had dissipates like breath on the icy morn.
I swing my sword as I always did.
The blade so hard, so shiny, it would be so easy.
I live minute by minute and every second lasts a year.
Oh light! The pain, oh light it hurts!
I am here now with no one by my side.
Thoughts of you still abide.
No comfort is given me, and I die by inches.
And through it all with my gasping breath I whisper, 'I love you!'
