Many a mile you may wander
Many a mile you may roam
But Darling always remember
In my heart you'll always find home
In my heart, the home fires are burning
In my heart you'll forever remain
No Matter where the road will take you
It will always lead you home again
Many a highway you will travel
Many a bridge you will cross
But follow your hearts own directions
And from this home you'll never be lost
So Darling follow your pathway
I'll be waiting your return
Deep in my heart there's a road map
To a love that always will burn

Its been a century and a half since I've read any of your work. I took a leave from the site following Katrina, too much emotions running amongst my thoughts. So, I was pleased to read this as it was rather exceptional. Its such a great feeling to know, whatever level you may take your life to, there's always those few, wonderful people you can always find home in their arms, comfort in their laugh, love in their eyes and their support in their lives.

Beautiful
I love this poem of yours. The flow and feel of it are fantastic, though it brings tears to my eyes and makes me a little homesick. It reminds of my parents, how far away I've traveled, how mom is always telling me to follow my dreams and that she will always love me and be there for me no matter where I end up or what untraveled road I follow. Your poem has given me the desire to find my way home again and it reminds me of my parent's love. Thank you for such a heartwarming piece. -
It was a great write, it had a lot of truth to it.

Awe, this is very sweet. It is nice to read about someone who's love isn't killing them. Great job on this. Nice rhyme and meter too.
