He had turned sixteen,
It was time to start thinking,
About what he was going to do with his life,
Did he want kids? Did he want a wife?
Did he want to be a builder, a plumber or what?
Or did he want to be a footballer he liked the game a lot?
But instead he choose mechanic, the more complicated career,
So now he had made his choice were to go from here?
He needed training but money was tight,
He decided to go into the army though he never wanted to fight.
He signed up and they started the training,
There was no denying the work was draining.
But he pulled through and did his best,
Even when all he needed was a long rest.
He learnt how to survive if worst came to the worst,
It was so hard he thought he might burst.
So he got his training and he got the best,
He learnt the basics and memorized the rest.
Now this boy has grown up a lot,
And now, to me, he has reached the top.
He is a dad to five kids,
And although one is not his,
He has brought them all up well,
No matter what he never really fell.
He was always there when they needed him.
Now let me explain if you don’t know or you are dim.
The reason I know all about this brilliant man,
Is he is my dad and no one could beat him no man ever can.
