Knowing I shouldn't say it
But it just slips from my tongue
And why should I hide what you know I feel?
Here I am
Longing to touch you
Wanting nothing more than a kiss
From your velvet lips
...But its over now, its over
How can I see you
And not want to paint
How can I speak
Without saying "I love you"
How can I hug you
And ever let go
How can I ever...
Ever Get over you
Living in my memories
All that I have of you
The unfeeling eyes of a photograph, beautiful
Dying to see you
I die when I do
How can it really be over?...
Over....
How can I see you
The light in the dark
And not try to chase you down?
And how can I know
That I can't love you any more ...
But I can't seem to let you go!
Sitting in the dark
I reach for the phone
But I know it won't be you who answers
Here I am
Reaching for your hand
Finding nothing but an empty fist
Another love's name on your lips
Its over...
But I can't get over you
Author notes
This is a song, thats why it may seems a bit off, but it fits the music in my head!
...a oyeah... hope you like it.

Absolutely Beautiful
This is really great, it's sad, but still a very beautiful piece. Even if the rhyming was a little off, the placement of the words was perfect, and I think it came out stronger because of that. I really like this one. A lot. Nice job.
