I went to your funeral,
And at your service I wept.
Wept silently.
Wept for someone I'll never see again.
Your casket open,
You looked so peaceful.
All dressed up,
I went through with the day entirely serene.
My face in my hands,
Your memory in my heart,
I thought of all the good times we had:
Going to your house,
Playing with toys;
Holidays-
Never more to spend together.
This is the end of a generation.
I went to your funeral,
And at your service I wept.
Wept silently.
Wept for someone I'll never see again.
