Whispering Faces

Missing image

Whispering faces
Millions
Ache in empathy
Everywhere privately revealed

Sacred hearts unwrap
A gamut of emotions to make the soul
Swim in absolute motionlessness
Lest the tempest swallows forgiveness

And oh, how some people fade away
Into those whispering, tired faces
That we hear poets crying over
Quietly upon empty beds

Tear stained trails
Steam rising, glistening cheeks
Loneliness prevails nevermore with racking sobs
To show love lost & found beyond the veil

Superbly written and much enjoyed, very powerful. It seemed so natural and never forced which made it an absolute joy to read and will have a lasting impression.

Great use of words, very beautifully penned, full of emotion, the sound of sadness prevails throughout the poem, but its very beautiful. If you have time, I invite you to read my poems.

On with the revolution Tim. A tribute to those who ache. My aching is done for now, content and blissfully happy, and salutations to those who dragged me here. Good to see you posting again, hope all is well.

Ah, this is beautiful, and the picture fits too. This is a very good poem, emotion and great word choices. And it has a lot of truth about the way our world is today *nods* this definately deserves an applause
