Allan Poe

do you want to know
what inside you grows
through the vessels flow
the essence of Poe

beating hearts of plenty
ringing bells of few
yearning has turned empty waiting for a tale or two

Annabell can hear you
wondering sorowly why
out of all the children
she had to die

now she stays locked up
locked up
in that sepulchre in the sky

Very intriguing piece - the rhyme - a little over used but nicely worded and the flow works beautifully.

I have lived many lifetimes and in one of them I met the great poe. as dark as he was he would have had a moment of light if had read this tribute to him. In speaking for him When you hear the ringing of the bells know that he is thanking you
