So We Say

isn't it funny how we say we hate him
but we cant forget him
we say we have forgotten
but forgotten we have not
and hate we have none
the boy of whom we do not speak of
is the one who has are love
he is the one who's memories caress are life
its his face that never leaves are mind
its his cologne that we cant forget
its his and only his voice that sticks
but yet we "hate" him
and yet we have "forgotten" him
its funny how this whole poem is about him!

    I know you'll hate me forever because of this but I just have to say its "our" not "are." But now that I am over my grammar OCD problem, great poem! I think a lot of people (including myself) can really relate to this and you've captured the emotion really well! Very awesome, keep it up!
