When I was tired of being by myself,
When I felt so alone and scared,
You were there.
The first time I played hide and go seek
When I first learned to ride a bike
When I went through my first tornado
You guys were there!
You guys were there
To teach me how to build a snow fort
And how to play hide and go seek in the dark.
You held me close when things got bad.
You guys were always there.
You have been there
To make me laugh and squeal as little ones do.
You always knew how to make me feel better when I got a “boo-boo”
You’ve helped me a lot over the years
But that one day when you didn’t come back
Brought me to tears.
You guys said you loved me,
You said you cared.
Now I’m sitting here alone,
And I’m scared!
I need you guys here and now.
But I know in my heart
We will meet again.
Because no matter what,
I know,
You’ll always be there
Till the end!

This was very cute, had a great sibling feel to it, the brotherly/sisterly love thing that only readers who have siblings would get. Nice dedication piece that I'm sure they would absolutely love to read. Thank you for entering this in my contest.

This is a really good poem. That is awesome that you and your siblings are that close. A lot of people don't know what it means to be there for your family and they take it for granted.
